I am so awful with Journaling. I struggle with what to write, how to write it, and where. I hand drew lines to write on.... I didn't want them to perfectly straight... No ruler.
The clouds I hand cut out of fabric..

What to do with all my ribbon..... I found this wire at Ikea.... attached it to the wall and the rest was history!
<p>My girlfriend at work (who I call mother) is a new grandma! Another grandson (#4), she was hoping for a granddaughter.... I made her a box of 'sweets'. This is such a great way to give baby gifts (and totally inexpensive) I bought a pack of 6 wash cloths and a pack of 4 onsies... That's it! Rolled them into 'pastries' secured them with ribbon! Easy peasy!
I'm in love how this page was so simple to create. Finding papers with borders already on them make assembly super easy! Once again I found a scratch piece of green paper to match and some snap shots of a vacation..... and yes, that's a Doily. I've discovered that big scrapbooking names (i.e little yellow bicycle) had a small 6 pack of doilys for almost $6! Purr madness.... I went to the bakery section at my local craft store and found a pack of 20 for $3!
And wouldn't you know-I used my favorite washing tape!
It's OK to scrap pictures of yourself. Who else is going to do it? Besides I'm usually the one behind the camera.... My daughter snapped the pic of me, it was a perfect opportunity to display some of my favorites...
I had this paper with a ugly pattern just in the center. Instead of tossing it I started painting it.... Then stitching it.... Then added some fun snap shots of our trip to California... Not bad!
